Blom-Singer Tracheoesophageal Puncture Set – STERILE
The Tracheoesophageal Puncture Set is designed to be used during surgery for secondary placement of the tracheoesophageal puncture. The set includes a disposable 16 gauge curved introducer needle with a 14 gauge Teflon sheath, a 26" silicone catheter with a tapered reinforced tip attached to a 24" Teflon-coated stainless steel leader cable, and a fenestrated surgical drape with adhesive around the aperture. Packaged sterile in a double hospital wrapped tray ready to be introduced into the surgical field. Instruction manual is included. We recommend use of this product with a standard or slotted esophagoscope.
Blom-Singer Insufflation Test Set
This test set has been designed to aid the physician or speech pathologist in the administration of the Esophageal Insufflation Test. This test is useful in determining the ability of the laryngectomized patient to produce esophageal voice. This insufflation test set is a disposable test system consisting of a 50cm long, 14 French catheter imprinted with a 25 cm length marker attached to an insertable tracheostoma adapter. A flexible tracheostoma housing and double-sided adhesive discs are provided to attach this adapter to the skin around the stoma. This test set box contains six complete tests. Instruction manual is included.
Insufflation Test Set is made of a silicone (latex-free) catheter. The silicone catheter also includes a radiopaque tip for convenient fluoroscopic viewing, if desired.
Blom-Singer Voice Prosthesis Sizing Device
The voice prosthesis sizing device is a hollow silicone tube supplied with three plastic safety inserters. Its configuration is similar to a Blom-Singer Duckbill Voice Prosthesis without a slit-valve. The sizing device is used to measure the length of the tracheoesophageal puncture between the trachea and the esophagus. Incremental millimeter markings and numbers correspond to the full range of voice prostheses lengths. Three inserters and instruction manual are included. Replacement inserters are sold separately.
