BLOM-SINGER GEL CAP INSERTION SYSTEM Rx
The Gel Cap Insertion System provides an easy and comfortable insertion of a Blom- Singer Low Pressure voice prosthesis into the tracheoesophageal passage. Using the gel cap loading tool, the user may place a specially-sized dissolvable gel cap over the tip of the voice prosthesis. Available in two diameters, 16 Fr. or 20 Fr., each kit contains a loading tool, two pushrods, 30 gel caps and K-Y jelly. Replacement gel caps also available.
BLOM-SINGER VALVED INSERT Rx
The Valved Insert is used with Blom-Singer Indwelling voice prostheses, sizes 8mm and above. It contains a one-way flapper valve that temporarily stops leaking and allows the patient to speak should leaking occur of the indwelling voice prosthesis. Comes with a safety neck strap.
BLOM-SINGER PLUG INSERT Rx
The Plug Insert is designed for use with the Blom-Singer Indwelling voice prostheses, 16 Fr. and 20 Fr. It functions to temporarily stop leaking but does not allow voicing. Comes with a safety neck strap.
BLOM-SINGER INDWELLING ADVANTAGE VOICE PROSTHESIS ACCESSORIES
The Brush and Flush Cleaning System is an integral part of daily maintenance. The brush has important safety features to prevent it from being inserted too far into the prosthesis and a “T-Bar” handle to prevent it from accidentally entering the trachea. The Plug Insert is designed to temporarily stop leaking should it occur.
BLOM-SINGER 16 FR. TEP OCCLUDER Rx
The TEP Occluder (Dummy Duckbill) is designed for use by laryngectomees who use a removable Duckbill or 16 Fr. Low Pressure voice pros-thesis. It maintains the puncture tract during the time that the voice prosthesis is removed. This device is not intended for voicing.
BLOM-SINGER FLUSHING DEVICE
The flushing device allows a voice prosthesis to remain in the tracheoesophageal passage while routine cleaning is performed. It is filled with water which is then sprayed through the voice prosthesis, to flush out accumulated debris.
BLOM-SINGER TRACHEOESOPHAGEAL PUNCTURE DILATORS Rx
The Tracheoesophageal Puncture Dilator is a tapered, solid silicone stent that prevents the tracheoesophageal passage from closing upon removal of a voice prosthesis. Available in two sizes (see below).
K-Y® JELLY
Water soluble lubricants non-irritating to skin, tissues and mucous membranes. Eases insertion of a voice prosthesis when used with the Blom-Singer Gel Cap Insertion System.
