We understand those differences and offer voice prostheses to address those needs. Our Special Order Voice Prostheses Program provides solutions with special lengths, large flanges, increased resistance and combinations of each.
- SL: BLOM-SINGER RAPID RESPONSE VOICE PROSTHESES - SPECIAL LENGTH. Available in one millimeter incremental lengths for comfort and a more precise TE puncture fit.
- IR: INCREASED RESISTANCE. Designed to be used in patients in whom conventional voice prostheses open intermittently with fluctuations in esophageal pressures resulting in air ingestion and/or leakage.
- LEF / LESL: LARGE OESOPHAGEAL FLANGE. Provides a seal to help manage leakage around a voice prosthesis. Also, enables downsizing from a wider diameter prosthesis to a smaller diameter. Effectiveness depends on an optimal prosthesis length fit that achieves a snug flange-to-flange seal against the wall surface(s).
- LF / LEIR / LETO: LARGE OESOPHAGEAL AND TRACHEAL FLANGE. Provides a double seal in patients with significantly enlarged puncture tracts and tear-drop or irregularly shaped punctures. Effectiveness depends on an optimal prosthesis length fit that achieves a snug flange-to-flange seal against the wall surface(s).
