SWEP VICTORIA

The State-wide Equipment Program (SWEP) supports people with permanent or long-term disability and the frail aged to receive and maintain the assistive technology items (including home and vehicle modifications) which they need for independence and improved quality of life.

MASS QUEENSLAND

The Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS) provides funding for medical aids and equipment to eligible Queensland residents who have a permanent and stabilised condition or a disability. The scheme helps people to live at home and avoid early or inappropriate residential care or hospitalisation.

ENABLE NSW

EnableNSW provides assistive technology and related services to people in NSW with specific, short term or ongoing health needs to assist them to live safely at home. 

TASMANIA FUNDING FOR LARYNGECTOMEES

The Tasmanian Health Service has approved funding for all the Laryngectomees in Tasmania.

This funding will enable anyone living with a Laryngectomee in Tasmania to receive their essential Lary health aids up to the value of $6,000 per year. These include stoma backplates, Heat Moisture Exchangers (HME’s), Voice Prosthesis (VP), Electro Larynx, etc. Funding can be accessed via their Speech Pathologist.

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (DVA) AUSTRALIA

Please note to order via DVA you are required to follow these steps: 

1. Obtain a quote from CH2 hospital@ch2.net.au using DVA account number 64320
2. email quote to RAPgeneralenquiries@dva.gov.au with subject line containing the following:  SURNAME, GIVEN NAME, DVA file number, Description of aid required. 
3. DVA will approve the quote and prepare and submit a purchase order to CH2. This approval number is required before the order can be processed by CH2. 
4. Once complete invoice must be sent by CH2 to rap.invoices.to.be.paid@dva.gov.au in order for payment to be made.
