Marketing & Events Coordinator, Newport NSW 2106
Casual hourly rate $40-$50 + 25% loading (negotiable based on skills and experience) *Immediate Start
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Coordinator to join Main Medical in Newport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives, coordinating events, social media and managing day-to-day operations. This individual will be a creative problem solver with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Marketing/Events
- Project management of digital marketing plans for the company, including email marketing campaigns
- Manage the company's website and social media accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity
- Content creation using Canva/Adobe InDesign for marketing & social media materials
- Coordinate and execute online and in person educational events, including planning, vendor management and logistics.
- Manage the company's CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer data
- Yearly review/updates of Catalogue & Price Lists using Adobe InDesign
- Travel Management
Administration Support
- Manage the office operations, including managing the office space, supplies, equipment, facilities and general administrative tasks
- Maintain relationships with vendors and customers
- IT Support
- Recording and tracking of all samples and voice prosthesis modifications
- Creation and editing of PowerPoint Presentations for Managing Director
- Regularly review the operations manual and processes for improvement opportunities and optimize them for greater efficiency
- Payment of invoices and expense management
- Review costs and track international/local freight
- Other Project & key initiatives as they emerge
- Daily incoming & outgoing mail
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, business administration and/or operations management
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Experience with event planning and execution
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing tools and techniques
- Experience with MailChimp, Shopify, Microsoft Office/Teams, Canva and Adobe InDesign, Later will be highly regarded
- Ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions to challenges
- Must be comfortable working in a home office environment and not have allergies to cats and/or dogs.
Flexible working hours: 20-25hrs week*
- Mon – WFH
- Tues, Wed, Thurs – Office (10am – 2pm)
- Friday – WFH
*Increased hours and extended responsibilities are available for the right candidate.
